And then there are the Greeks

In the large, ornate chapel behind the area in front of the edicule where the Latin Liturgy of the Hours was taking place, a Greek Mass began at 1 am. In the Orthodox tradition this is Palm Sunday. The two competing traditions, back to back, despite the irritation both displayed towards the other, simply folded together.

Though I must say, the Greeks are much more colourful . . .
